Upon being elected as a PCP, many of us are not clear on exactly what a PCP is, what they can do and what is expected of them. To address these concerns, the Linn County Republican Party has developed a 90-page PCP manual and a six-hour training program. The focus of this training and the manual is to provide PCPs with a road map for being effective in their involvement in politics of Linn County.
The training program is comprised of six lessons ranging from 20 minutes to 70 minutes in length, depending on the amount of interaction. The lessons are;
- The Political Foundation
- Building a personal and political foundation
- Republicans and Oregon
- Linn County and the Republican Party
- PCP Involvement
- PCP Activities and Actions
This is an interactive training, and there is plenty of time to ask questions and make input.
To view or download the manual and/or maps go to the PCP Tools page of this site.
